Answer and control the call from the notch.
When someone calls, on FaceTime or your iPhone, answer or decline from the notch. During the call the controls sit under the camera: mute, video, keypad, more and end.
Try it. Open the notch and try Mute.
How it works
- Answer from the notch
- The incoming call shows up in the notch with Accept and Decline. To also see the caller’s name you need Screen Recording: it is optional, reads only the call’s box, on your Mac, and keeps nothing.
- Controls during the call
- Mute, video, a keypad with round keys like Apple’s, more and end: all in the notch, no hunting for the window.
- The system banner, your way
- Hide it, show it only after you answer, or keep it always visible: you choose in Settings.
- Any app, never listening
- With FaceTime, Zoom, Teams, Meet, Discord and the rest the notch shows how long you have been on the call and mutes you. It only checks whether the microphone is in use, it records nothing.
