Black like the real notch, or glass.
By default it is pure black, like the camera housing. On macOS 26 you can pick Liquid Glass, and change themes, accent and text size. Shortcuts do the rest.
How it works
- Black or Liquid Glass
- Solid black, invisible when closed, or real Liquid Glass on macOS 26. The lock screen player can also be fully clear glass.
- Themes, accent and text
- Coloured themes, the accent colour and larger text, if you need it.
- Shortcuts
- ⌃⌥N opens the notch, ⌃⌥F the Tray, ⌃⌥T starts your timer, ⌃⌥P pauses the music. You can turn them off.
- Nothing leaves the Mac
- No account and no analytics. The network is used only for the weather, artwork, the licence and updates.
