A lock that opens with you, and your music at hand.
When the Mac is locked the notch shows a lock that opens when you unlock, like on iPhone. If music is playing, a small Liquid Glass player appears under the clock.
Try it. Watch the lock and the player below: when you “unlock” the lock opens and the player goes away.
How it works
- Above the lock screen
- The notch stays visible while the Mac is locked, without covering the time or the password field.
- Back where it was
- Music, timer or call take their place again as soon as you unlock.
- Player on the lock screen
- Artwork, title and controls on Liquid Glass, small and under the clock: not full-screen artwork. You can turn it off in Settings, and the glass can be fully clear.
